If it could happen, it will happen to Ella :(

Tyler and his brothers go fishing every year with their kids and Grandpa Arlyn. Ella is almost always the only girl. She loves to catch her some fish. Well this year Tyler had to work so Arlyn took the kids a day early and Tyler was to leave the next day before dawn. He did and was pretty excited to have a little get a way with his family. Not any sooner than he pulled up to the camp site he had to pull away to take Ella all the way back home (about a 2 1/2 hour drive) so we could some how remove the three prong fish hook from her side..... I guess Ella went and set behind her cousin Hunter just as he was casting out his line and instead of a fish he caught Ella. Grandpa Arlyn was on shore so he was there to help her get it out, the only thing is that when he went to get his surgical supplies and a fish hook so he could show Ella how he was going to get it out he hooked himself, right in the finger. Tyler took Ella home so we could get the medical help she needed and Arlyn stayed behind to do the procedure himself. We tried to get Ella to let our Great Neighbor (who is a major fisherman) do his magic but it was no use. We ended up taking her to the clinic where they had to cut the other side so of her poor little stomach and push it out. She was so brave! My dad said she was a Drama Queen just like I was but hey if that was her drama then they have nothing to talk about. They like to over exaggerate anyway. I know I was a piece of cake to raise! :) She did not need any stitches and she recovered well, as for Grandpa Arlyn, he got the hook out but is was a lot harder than he anticipated it to be.
